We allow athletes to travel the world.
We are looking for an ambitious Product Manager who is also a passionate cyclist, triathlete, or runner. You will work for a company which is already independently evaluated as one of the world’s top 5 indoor cycling software companies, though our ambitions are even higher.
ROUVY is a product obsessed company which strives to solve our customers’ needs by challenging them enough to make them sweat along the way. You will continue to build a product which has a global appeal with customers all around the world.
How your typical day might look-like
8am: Forget Outlook. Productboard & Slack are places you go to check what’s new and what is the priority for the day and week.
9am: you check-in informally with the customer success team and learn about what happened over night, since a majority of our customers are from outside Europe. Some spicy discussion might take place and you could happen to be in a middle of heated prioritisation debate.
10 – 11:30 time to think CUSTOMER. Back to customer requirements, feature ideas, the things which can’t wait and those who can (you know, backlog). It’s your job to truly understand the market and make as many product decisions based on data as possible (and yes, we’re not quite there yet – that’s why we’re looking for you!).
11:30 – 12:30 We like early lunches in South Bohemia. You’re welcome.
12:30 – 13:30 We’ve mentioned, we’re product obsessed, right? It’s time to meet with developers. They are your ally and a friend. It might not be easy to get on the same but it’s a must. And once you do, the magic happens. As a Product Manager at ROUVY you will work with developers closely and on a daily basis. Brainstorming, planning, and reviews are the places for you to pro-actively participate in.
13:30 – 14:15 – Not only our customers sweat using our product. So will you! It’s time to check this latest feature you’ve worked on. Before we let it go off to our beta users, it’s your turn!
14:15 – 15:00 Urgent meeting with Marketing – the team has just agreed with our strategic partner on an exciting joint project. But there’s something they need the product team to do and of course it has a very tight deadline.
Rest of the day – time to think strategy. Review and update the Product Roadmap, so it can be presented to the Management team on Thursday. Also, ROUVY uses OKR’s the define and execute on quarterly priorities. You’ll work on those too.
By the end of the day, you might need to hop on the call with some potential partner. The people and companies you’ve been following in social media and elsewhere – Ironman, Tour de Suisse, La Vuelta, and many others.
Your day might look very different too – you might spend the whole day putting out fires or something completely different (strategy meeting with our key partner, talking to our beta testers, etc,). Nevertheless, the above isn’t too far off from your daily reality
We don’t care that much about diplomas (though University degree is preferred)
Language skills – being comfortable with having critical business discussions in English with both native and non-native speakers is non-negotiable. BBC English isn’t expected. We love our accents. Any other language is a plus.
Active athlete – your performance doesn’t matter that much. But you must bike and/or run to truly understand the customer.
Product management background – having a demonstrable hands on experience is a plus, but not a must have. We’re growing rapidly and can accommodate team members with different levels of seniority. So, if you’re a fresh graduate or early in your career, don’t hesitate.
Finally – passion & can-do attitude are crucial. We all-in to help create our customers’ solutions, not problems.
ROUVY is always looking for talented individuals for a range of roles including developer, marketing, customer service, and business development.
We need people with the passion for a sport, desire to be a driving force in the planning and delivery of the top quality products.
